Everything you may want to know before ordering a brief: what you receive, how every figure is verified, what each tier costs, how delivery and the refund promise work, and where the boundaries of the product lie. The free instant check and the published sample report let you inspect all of it before you order.

01

What does a TaxoTax brief contain?

A brief brings your relocation picture into one reviewable document: a recomputed summary table of the headline deltas (income, capital gains, wealth, inheritance, exit tax), cited findings with the exact supporting passages, an exit-tax section, an asset-by-asset breakdown, a step-by-step roadmap, the relevant double-tax-treaty status, an advisor checklist, a list of every figure that failed verification, and a dated source register. The public sample report is the unedited output of a real generation run, so you can inspect the exact format before ordering.

02

I can ask a free AI chatbot about tax. What does a paid brief add?

A paid brief adds a verification chain that a chat answer cannot offer. Research runs only against a fixed, published list of primary and professional reference domains; every figure is pinned to the exact passage of its source, re-fetched on the day of generation; an independent pass re-reads each cited passage and must extract the same number; the summary table is recomputed in code from the verified inputs; and figures that fail any step are excluded and listed. A chat answer never tells you which of its numbers would have failed that check — the brief shows you.

03

How do citations and verification work?

Every published figure is paired with a dated citation, and the exact supporting passage is stored with the report — on screen you can open it right next to the number it supports. A second pass re-reads only the cited passage and must extract the same figure; a mismatch removes it from the publishable set. Where the law is genuinely ambiguous or person-dependent, the figure carries a confirm-with-your-advisor flag. The full eight-step methodology is published on the how-we-verify page.

04

How long does delivery take?

Most briefs complete within 45 minutes; a Quick validation is often ready in 10 to 20 minutes. You watch live progress on your report page — sources confirmed, figures verified — and the private link also arrives by email when the brief is ready.

05

Do I need an account?

No account is needed at any point. The free instant check runs directly in your browser, and a paid brief is delivered to a private link that only you receive. There is no signup, no password and no profile; your inputs serve one purpose, preparing your report.

06

How long does my report stay available?

Your finished report remains available at its private link for 12 months. The address is random and unguessable, so bookmarking it is the only step you need to take. For a permanent copy, print or save the report from your browser at any time within that period.

07

What do the pricing tiers include and what do they cost?

Quick validation, $149, answers one defined relocation question for a single destination with a verified core snapshot. Deep-dive, $299, covers a single destination with more research rounds and a stricter verification budget — the full asset, treaty and roadmap picture. Discovery, $449, screens up to three candidate destinations against your profile and compares them in one document. Prices are shown in US dollars.

08

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, and it is falsifiable: if a cited source fails to support a figure in your brief, you receive a full refund. Requests reach us at info@relmos.ch within 30 days of delivery, naming the figure and the cited source. Items the report marks as confirm-with-your-advisor are flagged precisely because reasonable interpretations differ; those flags are part of the method.

09

Who is TaxoTax for?

TaxoTax is built for internationally mobile professionals, founders and investors who are weighing a move between countries and want to walk into their advisor meeting prepared. If you have meaningful income, a business, a portfolio or equity at stake, a brief turns the groundwork hours of paid advisory time into a focused conversation about judgement and execution.

10

When is a licensed advisor the right next step?

You need a licensed tax advisor or lawyer when you want returns prepared and filed, representation before a tax authority, a binding opinion on your specific facts, or documents drafted and executed. A brief is designed to make exactly that engagement shorter and sharper: it arrives structured for professional review, with sources your advisor can check and open questions already framed.

11

Who reviews the briefs?

Briefs are machine-generated and pass an automated verification chain that is enforced in code at generation time; the methodology is published in full on the how-we-verify page. A named professional countersignature for flagship briefs is in preparation and will be announced on that page — until then, no brief carries a human signature, and every brief is built for review with your own advisor.

12

Is a brief tax advice?

A brief is orientation material prepared for review with a qualified tax advisor or lawyer. It gives you verified figures, cited sources and a structured picture of your situation, so professional time goes into judgement on your specific facts. Rules in this area are often person-dependent — residence ties, treaty tie-breakers, exit-tax exposure — and your advisor applies current law to your circumstances before you act.

13

Is TaxoTax available everywhere?

Briefs are currently not offered to customers located in Germany, because German law reserves individual tax advice for licensed advisors (§ 5 StBerG). Every published page, guide and the free instant check remain open to all visitors. Daily generation capacity is limited; when it is reached, ordering reopens the following day.

14

Which countries are covered?

The curated dataset behind the free instant check covers 196 countries, and twenty destination jurisdictions carry full published guides — from Portugal, the UAE and Switzerland to Singapore, Cyprus and Uruguay. Paid research runs live against current sources at generation time, so any route can be requested; the brief states openly where source coverage is thin.

15

How fresh is the data?

Paid briefs are verified at the moment of generation: every cited source is re-fetched live while your report is produced, and the citation of record is the passage retrieved for your report, stamped with its confirmation date. The free instant check draws on a curated dataset maintained for the 2026 tax year, with its own source and retrieval date shown on every comparison. Where a figure could change soon — announced reforms, pending legislation — the report says so.
