Everything you may want to know before starting a brief: what you receive, how evidence claims are verified, what each tier covers, how delivery works, and where the boundaries of the product lie. The public preview currently runs in free test mode with no paid checkout. The instant check and published format sample let you inspect the approach before you begin.

01

What does a TaxoTax brief contain?

A brief brings your relocation picture into one reviewable document. It opens with a concise overview copied from the cited findings, without inventing a second summary layer. Then follow the working sections: a comparison table assembled from verified percentage claims, cited findings with the freshly fetched supporting passages, an exit-tax section, an asset-by-asset breakdown, a step-by-step roadmap, the relevant double-tax-treaty status, an advisor checklist, a list of evidence claims that did not survive verification, and a dated source register. Values that were not verified in the run stay visibly unavailable instead of falling back to an uncited snapshot. A living-there section covers housing, schooling, healthcare and everyday infrastructure for your destination. You receive the report in your language and in English, with a PDF attached to the delivery email; quoted source passages stay in their original language as evidence.

02

I can ask a free AI chatbot about tax. What does a verified brief add?

A TaxoTax brief adds a verification chain that a chat answer cannot offer. Research runs only against a fixed, published list of primary and professional reference domains. A research citation is treated as a lead. Verification fetches the selected URL again without a cached copy, requires one exact passage to support the complete claim, and then code checks that every numeric token in the published finding appears unchanged in that passage. Unsupported and partially supported claims are excluded and listed. A chat answer never tells you which of its claims would have failed that check — the brief shows you.

03

How do citations and verification work?

Every published finding is linked to a dated citation, and the exact supporting passage fetched during verification is stored with the report. The independent verifier may mark a candidate supported, partial or unsupported; only full support can pass. A deterministic gate then checks the source URL, the verbatim passage and every numeric token before assembly. Ambiguity is handled in the advisor checklist, not by publishing a partially supported claim. The full eight-step methodology is published on the how-we-verify page.

04

How long does delivery take?

The product targets completion within 15 minutes: 5 to 8 minutes for Quick validation, 8 to 12 for Deep-dive and 10 to 14 for Discovery. Actual time depends on source availability and verification retries. The private progress page shows persisted stages plus real source and figure counts; it does not estimate a percentage. The private link also arrives by email when the brief is ready.

05

Do I need an account?

No account is needed at any point. The instant check runs directly in your browser, and a generated brief is delivered to a private link that only you receive. There is no signup, no password and no profile; your inputs serve one purpose, preparing your report.

06

How long does my report stay available?

Your finished report remains available at its private link for 12 months. The address is random and unguessable, so bookmarking it is the only step you need to take. A PDF is attached to the delivery email, and you can download the PDF again from the private report page at any time within that period.

07

What do the pricing tiers include and what do they cost?

Quick validation covers one defined relocation question for one destination. Deep-dive can carry up to three named destinations through intake and research, with the full asset, treaty and roadmap picture. Discovery screens up to three candidates against your profile and compares the shortlist. The site shows reference prices in USD, EUR, GBP or CHF according to location, with a manual currency switch. The current public test is free of charge and paid checkout is disabled.

08

Is there a money-back guarantee?

For any future paid order, yes, and the promise is falsifiable: if a cited source fails to support a published figure in your brief, you receive a full refund. Requests reach us at info@relmos.ch within 30 days of delivery, naming the figure and the cited source. The current public test takes no payment. Partially supported evidence is excluded before publication; genuinely person-dependent questions remain in the advisor checklist.

09

Who is TaxoTax for?

TaxoTax is built for internationally mobile professionals, founders and investors who are weighing a move between countries and want to walk into their advisor meeting prepared. If you have meaningful income, a business, a portfolio or equity at stake, a brief turns the groundwork hours of paid advisory time into a focused conversation about judgement and execution.

10

When is a licensed advisor the right next step?

You need a licensed tax advisor or lawyer when you want returns prepared and filed, representation before a tax authority, a binding opinion on your specific facts, or documents drafted and executed. A brief is designed to make exactly that engagement shorter and sharper: it arrives structured for professional review, with sources your advisor can check and open questions already framed.

11

Who reviews the briefs?

Briefs are machine-generated and pass an automated verification chain that is enforced in code at generation time; the methodology is published in full on the how-we-verify page. A named professional countersignature for flagship briefs is in preparation and will be announced on that page — until then, no brief carries a human signature, and every brief is built for review with your own advisor.

12

Is a brief tax advice?

A brief is orientation material prepared for review with a qualified tax advisor or lawyer. It gives you freshly fetched evidence passages, cited findings and a structured picture of your situation, so professional time goes into judgement on your specific facts. Rules in this area are often person-dependent — residence ties, treaty tie-breakers, exit-tax exposure — and your advisor applies current law to your circumstances before you act.

13

Is TaxoTax available everywhere?

Briefs are currently not offered to customers located in Germany, because German law reserves individual tax advice for licensed advisors (§ 5 StBerG). Every published page, guide and the free instant check remain open to all visitors. Daily generation capacity is limited; when it is reached, ordering reopens the following day.

14

Which countries are covered?

The curated dataset behind the free instant check covers 196 countries, and twenty destination jurisdictions carry full published guides — from Portugal, the UAE and Switzerland to Singapore, Cyprus and Uruguay. Report research runs live against current sources at generation time, so any route can be requested; the brief states openly where source coverage is thin.

15

How fresh is the data?

Generated briefs are verified at the moment of generation: the selected source for each candidate claim is fetched again while your report is produced, and the citation of record is the passage retrieved for your report, stamped with its retrieval date. A source that cannot be fetched cannot support a published claim. The free instant check is separate: it draws on a curated 2026 dataset and shows that dataset's source and retrieval date on every comparison. Where a figure could change soon — announced reforms, pending legislation — the report says so.
