Terms of service

The terms that govern TaxoTax research briefs: scope, delivery, verification promise, refunds and governing law.

Effective 17 July 2026. The operator is RELMOS AG, Bachenbülach, Switzerland — full details in the imprint.

1. What TaxoTax provides

TaxoTax prepares written research briefs on the tax consequences of moving between countries. A brief is orientation material, prepared for review with a qualified tax advisor: every figure carries its source and the date it was confirmed, so an advisor can work from it directly. A brief files nothing, represents you nowhere and replaces no professional judgement. Where law or facts are ambiguous, the brief says so. Ordering a brief creates a contract for the delivery of digital content; it creates no advisor–client relationship.

2. Ordering and delivery

The scope and price of each brief tier are stated on the order page at the time of ordering. Generation starts once the order is confirmed. The finished brief is delivered as a private link, sent to the email address you provide; most briefs complete within the timeframe stated for the tier. The link remains available for 12 months from delivery.

3. Immediate generation and withdrawal

Generation begins immediately after you confirm the order and consent to immediate execution. For consumers in the EU and comparable jurisdictions, this consent means the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content lapses once generation has begun. The verification refund in section 4 applies independently of this and remains available to you.

4. Verification promise and refund

Every published figure in a brief is pinned to a cited source passage and re-confirmed on the day of generation; figures that fail verification are excluded and listed in the brief's exclusion section. If a cited source fails to support a figure in your brief, you receive a full refund. Refund requests reach us at info@relmos.ch within 30 days of delivery, naming the figure and the cited source.

5. If a run fails

When a generation run stops before completion, you are notified by email, nothing is owed for that run, and any payment already made for it is refunded in full.

6. Availability

Briefs are currently not offered to customers located in Germany, because German law reserves individual tax advice for licensed advisors (§ 5 StBerG). All published pages and the free instant check remain open to every visitor. Daily generation capacity is limited; when it is reached, ordering reopens the following day.

7. Your responsibilities

The accuracy of a brief depends on the situation you describe. The private report link is personal to you; anyone who has it can read the brief. Use of the service for unlawful purposes is prohibited.

8. Machine generation

Briefs are machine-generated. The verification methodology is published at how we verify and is enforced in code at generation time.

9. Liability

Briefs are prepared with care under the published methodology. Decisions with legal or tax effect belong with you and your qualified advisor. To the extent permitted by law, RELMOS AG's liability is limited to the price paid for the brief concerned; liability for intent, gross negligence and personal injury remains unaffected, as do mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.

10. Governing law

Swiss law governs these terms. Place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland; mandatory consumer venues remain unaffected. If a provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
