Privacy policy

What TaxoTax stores, which processors touch it, how long it is kept and the rights you hold under Swiss and EU data protection law.

Effective 17 July 2026. Controller: RELMOS AG, Weieracherstrasse 4, CH-8184 Bachenbülach, Switzerland — info@relmos.ch.

1. What we collect

Ordering a brief requires two things: the description of your situation and an email address for delivery. Both are stored together with the generated brief. The free instant check runs in your browser from published static data; nothing you select there leaves your device.

2. What stays in your browser

Your intake draft is kept in your browser's session storage so it survives a page change, and your colour-scheme choice is kept in local storage. Both stay on your device. The site sets no cookies, runs no advertising and embeds no third-party analytics or tracking pixels.

3. How your data is processed

The free scoping step on the order page sends your description to Anthropic once, to structure it into a research plan you review before ordering. If you order, the description is processed to plan, research and generate your brief. Rate limiting uses a salted hash of your network address; the raw address is never stored. Delivery emails carry your private report link and the brief's reference number.

4. Processors

Four processors touch the data, each under a data processing agreement:

— Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and content delivery for this site.
— Supabase (project region: AWS Zürich, Switzerland) — database and generation functions; your order and brief are stored here.
— Anthropic, PBC (USA) — the research and drafting model; it receives your situation description during generation. API inputs are covered by Anthropic's commercial terms and are excluded from model training.
— Resend (region: EU, Ireland) — delivery of the report email to your address.

Paid checkout is in preparation; the payment provider will be named here before it goes live.

5. Retention and deletion

Your brief, your situation description and your delivery address are kept for 12 months, matching the report link's availability, then deleted automatically. You can request earlier deletion at any time at info@relmos.ch; statutory bookkeeping duties may require keeping billing records longer.

6. Your rights

Under the Swiss FADP and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, and you can object to processing. Requests reach us at info@relmos.ch and are answered within 30 days. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, your local supervisory authority.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy are published on this page with a new effective date before they take effect.
